Instructions
Cook the pasta and broccoli 8 If you haven't, chop the florets into bite-sized pieces. (They should be if you're using frozen broccoli. If you are using fresh, you might have to trim them down.) Set aside. 9 Bring a large pot of water to a boil, and salt liberally. 10 Add the uncooked pasta to the boiling water. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. 1 When three minutes remain in the cooking process for the pasta, add the broccoli. 11 Reserve ½ cup of the cooking liquid in a liquid measuring cup. 12 Drain the pasta and broccoli. Return both to the pot, and set aside. Cook the meat and the rest of the dish 2 Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. 3 Add the ground turkey, garlic, Cajun seasoning, red pepper flakes and salt, and cook. Break up the meat as it cooks with a spoon or a spatula. Cook until very brown, about 5-8 minutes, depending on your cooktop. 4 Squeeze in the lemon juice, and give it a stir. 13 Pour the pasta and broccoli into the ground meat mixture, and stir to combine. 5 Measure in the parmesan and reserved pasta liquid, stirring until the cheese has melted. 14 Serve warm with a sprinkle of parmesan on top, and enjoy immediately!View original recipe
