What you need
cup water
cup granulated sugar
cup strawberries
oz simple syrup
oz sparkling wine, prosecco, cava, champagne or Brut Rosé Champagne are all OK
Instructions
Make the Strawberry Simple Syrup -1 In a small saucepan, combine the water, sugar and chopped strawberries over high heat. Bring to a simmer, and heat until all the sugar has dissolved. -1 Remove from the heat, and let the flavors infuse for about 30 minutes. -1 Blend the simple syrup together, then transfer to an 8 oz. mason jar. -1 Refrigerate until chilled. Make Easter Strawberry Champagne -1 In a champagne glass, pour in the Strawberry Simple Syrup. -1 Top the Strawberry Simple Syrup with the champagne. -1 Stir together, and enjoy immediately!View original recipe
