Jalapeno Cream Cheese

1 Soften cream cheese on the countertop for 30-40 minutes before mixing.
2 Chop the jalapeño pepper. I left the seeds and ribs in mine, but you can remove these if you are concerned about the heat.
3 Place the brick of cream cheese in a large bowl.
4 Add the chopped jalapeño, herbs and salt on top of it.
5 Mix together with a hand mixer or a rubber spatula until well-combined. (Do not use a food processor or the texture will become liquidy.)
6 Next, zest the lemon directly onto the cream cheese mixture. Gently stir it in until incorporated.
7 Chill or enjoy immediately!
