-1 Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. -1 Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel. -1 Brush the tops of the salmon with unsalted butter. Season with salt and pepper. -1 Add lemon rounds and fresh dill. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, too. -1 Bake for 6-9 minutes, depending on thickness. (Keep an eye on it.)Test the salmon’s doneness by gently sticking a knife into the thickest part of the fish.
