Make the Ginger Simple Syrup -1 In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the water and sugar over medium-high heat. -1 Add the peeled ginger, and bring to a simmer. -1 When the sugar has completely dissolved into the water, remove from the heat. -1 Let the mixture steep for 30 minutes, then remove the ginger and store in the refrigerator until time to serve.
