What you need

cup all purpose flour, [adjustable]+ 2 tablespoons[/adjustable]

tsp baking soda

tsp baking powder

tbsp ground cinnamon

tsp ground ginger

tsp ground clove

tsp kosher salt

cup pumpkin puree

cup granulated sugar, [adjustable]+ 3 tablespoons[/adjustable]

extra large egg, at room temperature
Instructions
0 Preheat oven to 375°F. 1 Make a parchment paper sling, and spray a loaf pan with nonstick baking spray. Fit the sling into the loaf pan, and set aside. 2 In a small mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt. Whisk, and set aside. 3 In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk the pumpkin, sugar, applesauce and eggs together until smooth. 4 Sprinkle the dry ingredients on top of the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined using a rubber spatula. 5 Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. 6 Transfer the pan into the oven. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. 7 Let cool for 15 minutes, slice and then enjoy!View original recipe
