A twist on the classic, Creamed Kale is a creamy side dish to serve alongside turkey this season. This side comes together quickly and only requires a handful of ingredients. Warm olive oil in a skillet, then cook onion and garlic until translucent. Add kale, and sauté until wilted. Finally, add the cream, allowing the greens to soak it up, and serve the dish warm. Creamed Kale adds comforting deliciousness to any Thanksgiving or holiday feast.

Instructions
1 In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. 2 When the oil begins to shimmer, add the onion and garlic. Cook the onion and garlic until transparent. 3 Add the chopped kale to the skillet, mixing it into the onions and garlic. 4 Let the kale cook down until softened. This will take a little longer than if you were doing this with spinach, as kale is more hearty. 5 When the kale is wilted and bright green, pour the heavy cream into the skillet. Stir it into the kale and other ingredients. Then immediately lower the heat so the cream doesn’t curdle. 6 Cook until the cream soaks mostly into the kale. 7 Serve warm, and enjoy immediately after the dish is cooked through.View original recipe
