Cream Cheese Icing

0 Add the softened [wprm-ingredient text="4 oz. cream cheese" uid="0"] to a large bowl.
1 Use a hand mixer to beat the cream cheese, starting slowly so it doesn't splatter. We do this to add air to the cream cheese from the get-go and make the blending easier.
2 Sprinkle in the [wprm-ingredient text="2 cups powdered sugar" uid="1"] and [wprm-ingredient text="1 pinch kosher salt" uid="4"], and beat until combined with the cream cheese. Be sure to start the mixer on low so that the powdered sugar doesn't fly everywhere.
3 Pour in [wprm-ingredient text="1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract" uid="2"], and mix to combine.
4 Drizzle in [wprm-ingredient text="1 tablespoon milk" uid="3"] into the icing slowly, running the hand mixer at the same time. We don't want the icing to become runny, though you might like yours thicker or thinner depending on your personal tastes. Whip this up until the icing is the desired consistency.
6 Spread the icing on top of your dessert or breakfast of choice. (It works great for cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, cake, pancakes and more!)
