Butter both slices of bread on one side. Sprinkle the granulated sugar in an even layer over the butter. Sprinkle the ground cinnamon on top of the sugar layer. Toast in a toaster oven on medium setting. (This might take a few rounds, so it's better to go slow than burn the Cinnamon Toast.)
