What you need

lb pizza dough, (homemade or store-bought)

cup tomato puree

cup barbecue sauce, (divided)

cup mozzarella cheese, ([adjustable]8 oz.[/adjustable])

cup pulled pork, ([adjustable]9 oz.[/adjustable])

red onion, sliced into rings
Instructions
0 Preheat the oven to 475°F, and place a pizza stone into the oven as it heats. (This will help your pizza have a very crispy bottom crust.) 1 Roll out [wprm-ingredient text="1 lb. pizza dough" uid="0"] on a floured sheet of parchment paper, and set aside until the oven has preheated. 2 Once the oven is hot and the pizza stone is equally heated, remove the pizza stone and transfer the pizza dough onto the stone. Build the pizza quickly! 3 Measure [wprm-ingredient text="½ cup simple red sauce" uid="1"] onto the dough, then add [wprm-ingredient text="0.25 cup barbecue sauce" uid="2:1"]. Swirl the two around on the dough, covering the surface. 4 Top the sauces with [wprm-ingredient text="2 cups mozzarella cheese" uid="3"], then sprinkle [wprm-ingredient text="1 cup pulled pork shoulder" uid="4"] on top of the cheese. 5 Sprinkle the sliced [wprm-ingredient text="1 very small red onion" uid="5"] on top of the pulled pork. 6 Transfer the pizza stone into the oven on the middle rack, and bake until bubbly and the dough has crisped up (about 10-15 minutes, depending on your oven.) 7 Remove from the oven and let sit for a few minutes. 8 Drizzle the remaining [wprm-ingredient text="½ cup barbecue sauce" uid="2"] on top of the pizza, garnish with [wprm-ingredient text="Chopped parsley or cilantro" uid="7"]. 9 Slice and enjoy immediately!View original recipe
