-1 Make the Simple Syrup -1 In a small saucepan, heat the water over medium-high heat.Add the sugar, and stir until dissolved. -1 Remove from the heat and add the cinnamon stick. -1 Let steep for 30 minutes to 3 hours. (Keep in mind that the longer the cinnamon steeps, the stronger the cinnamon flavor will be.) -1 When the steeping is done, strain the syrup with a fine mesh strainer into a mason jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. -1 Make the Wellness Beverage -1 Slice apples and pears very thin with a sharp knife.
